Trouble With Internet Service

Trouble with Internet Service

I’ve been away from my computer for a bit…..

First my computer had to be sent to Texas for repair and was gone for 7 days.  Then a violent storm hit our area.  It ripped out one of our trees and hurled it at our neighbors’ house taking our electric and cable wires with it.  Thankfully, no one was hurt, but we are still working on cleaning up the mess.  Our internet service is finally back, but it may be a little while before I can find the time to fully enjoy the crafting inspiration you all post.  (I am still trying to check out the posts for which I receive email notifications – on my phone and now on my computer; commenting has been tough.)

Thanks for checking out my post and for your understanding.

My Computer Is Not Feeling Well

My computer is having a few problems and needs to be sent away for warranty covered repair.  Hopefully, this will not take too long, but I will be missing in action until the repair is completed and my computer is returned.

Thanks for checking out my post.

Happy Easter Bunny

Happy Easter Bunny

(inside: wishing you many blessings this Easter)

This card was made with the die set called “Happy Easter Bunny” by Tutti Designs (TUTTI-502).  There are lots of pieces (18!) that need to be glued down, but I think this die design is so clever and cute!  (You can see how I attached these small die cut pieces HERE.)

I adhered the pieces on a panel of Blue Denim card stock (GKD) that was embossed with a Cuttlebug Swiss Dot embossing folder.

The patterned paper is “Linen Door Boy Plaid” by The Paper Studio.  The inside sentiment is from the “Ink to Paper – Just Sentiments: Easter Mini Stamp Set” by Papertrey Ink.

Thanks for checking out my card project!

The New Normal

The New Normal

As is the norm at the moment, everyone in my family is now home – either working or “attending classes” remotely.  As a result, my craft room has become an additional “classroom” for two of my sons (who share a room) when they have live or simultaneous online classes and need privacy/quiet.  This will go on for the remainder of the semester.

I’ve not been feeling very creative lately, and with reduced access to my room and supplies, it will be even more challenging to get back on track so if it seems like I am missing in action, that is why.  I am hopeful that this will change as I adjust to (and work around) their class schedules and settle in to this new normal.  Until then, I am enjoying the projects you all are posting and appreciate the inspiration.

I am feeling very thankful that my family is healthy and can be together during this difficult time.  Praying for an end to this health crisis and that you and your families are all well.

Thanks for checking out my post.
