Off to College!
Boy, it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything!
Things got a bit busy around here with my triplets’ “End of Senior Year” stuff, and I decided to take a break to enjoy the last few months with them before they went off to college. We survived senior trip, prom, exams, graduation, and summer jobs, and now that all four of my kids are away, I am able to begin catching up here. I have quite a few projects that need to be photographed and posted, and hopefully I’ll have some stuff ready soon.

I’m Freaking Out!!!!!
With one click, I somehow deleted a TON of photos from my site. My slideshow is gone, and MANY of my posts are missing photos. Ugh!!!!!!!
I am in the process of manually re-uploading them…one photo at a time. (Hopefully someone from wordpress will have a magical solution for undoing whatever I did to cause this problem when they respond to my request for help!)
I apologize if you have taken the time to visit and are seeing a bunch of empty squares where photos should be. (In some cases, the photo will pop up if you click on the square.) I will hopefully have this fixed soon.
Thanks for your patience!
UPDATE: WORDPRESS HAD NO SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM AND TOLD ME TO CONTINUE MANUALLY RE-UPLOADING THE PHOTOS AS I HAVE BEEN. SLOW AND TEDIOUS, BUT I FINALLY FINISHED!!! (Please let me know if you notice anything I missed.)

It’s been a little while since I’ve posted anything here on my blog. I go through “busy periods” where it seems like I have a bunch of card needs with short deadlines, and I actually start to feel stressed about getting everything done. I also get caught up trying to “out-do” my previous projects which can tend to get very time consuming and expensive. I really do enjoy pushing myself to try new techniques and to make cards/projects with interesting twists, but that also adds to the stress. Strange, I know, since this is supposed to be a hobby!
This past month has been a “slow period” with very little that needed to be done. Luckily, my mojo stuck around, and I found myself in my craft room a lot. I decided to pull out some stamp sets that I have had for a while but have not had time to play with yet. I forced myself to be “ok” with creating some simpler card designs. And I must say, I have thoroughly enjoyed this past month of “low key” card making. Very relaxed, very fun, and very productive.
I guess the problem is that I had also decided to take take a little break from blogging so now I have a lot of catching up to do! I hope to start posting again soon….
Thanks for checking out my post!
Thank You, Donna!
Back in April, the very talented (and generous!) Donna Phelan celebrated her “4th year in the Blog-O-Sphere” and offered visitors the chance to win a little something each Sunday throughout the month. I was one of the lucky winners and received this “yummy” stamp set called “Sweetest Blessings” by Gina K Designs.
I am so appreciative for the awesome gift and also for all the wonderful inspiration that I get every time I visit Donna’s blog (craftingbytheseashore.blogspot.com), and you should definitely pop on over and check it out!
Thanks again, Donna, and congratulations on your 4th blog-a-versary! (Sorry this post is so late; I am still trying to play catch-up here…)
It’s almost June?!
I have no idea what happened to the month of May!! I have been a bit busy this month and haven’t had much time in my craft room or on my computer. I hope things quiet down in June and that I can get back to stamping and to enjoying everyone’s latest projects soon! I really miss it!! (And I am soooo behind on cards I need to send!)
