CAS Hanukkah Card

CAS Hanukkah Card

This is a Clean and REALLY Simple card.  Maybe too simple???

I saw this “Happy Hanukkah” stamp set from Lawn Fawn and really liked the whimsical menorah image.  Are we allowed to just stamp an image and a greeting and then mat it and call it done?  LOL!!  I needed to make a bunch of these to hold gift cards/monetary gifts, and my MISTI made it a breeze.

The mat and ink are both Gina K Designs Blue Denim, but as often happens, my blue paper and ink look different in photos but the same in real life.  Hmmm…

Layered Die Cut Hanukkah Card Made with Wrapping Paper

Layered Die Cut Hanukkah Card Made With Wrapping Paper

I have trouble finding supplies for Hanukkah cards every year, and the selection of patterned paper in the craft stores near me is very limited (if I can find any at all).  For this card, I ended up using a scrap of wrapping paper.

I used the “Hanukkah” die from Gina K Designs, and the “Contemporary Diamonds” die from Spellbinders.  Gina K Blue Denim and white card stock was also used.

I cut and layered several of the word die cuts on top of one another to create some dimension and to help it stand out against the diamonds behind it.

The wrapping paper has silver foil on it.  This view shows the shine a bit more…

Joy Peace Love Hanukkah Card

Joy Peace Love Hanukkah Card

This card features an untitled Craft Smart stamp (#84168-2013-07) on a “smooshed” background.   The “splatters” are from the SU “Timeless Textures” set.  The greeting is part of the Penny Black “Wonder Collection” stamp set that was a free gift with the Papercraft Essentials Magazine (issue 113) from September 2014.

Memento Summer Sky and Blue Danube ink was used on white card stock.  The “smooshed” color added behind the menorah image was done by adding the Summer Sky ink directly to my craft mat and spritzing it with water.  The card stock was then dipped in/dragged through the ink/water droplets.  The edges were sponged with the Blue Danube ink and a foam blending tool.

CAS Silver Embossed Hanukkah Card

CAS Silver Embossed Hanukkah Card

This clean and simple (cas) card features stamps from the “Seasonal Sentiments” set by Gina K Designs and the “Festival of Lights” mini set by Papertrey Ink.  Both were stamped with versamark ink and heat embossed with Gina K Silver fine detail embossing powder.  The star was stamped/embossed on a separate scrap of card stock and fussy cut since I was having trouble centering it perfectly when I tried to stamp it directly onto the card front. (User error I’m sure!)  The card stock was Gina K In the Navy and white.

Holiday Gift Card Holders

Holiday Gift Card Holders

Santa Gift Card Holder xDSCN7428

I made several different Gift Card Holder designs for the Rolling Green Holiday Boutique.

The first one (shown above) was made with a Silhouette design by Lori Whitlock called “Santa Pocket Gift Card Holder” (design ID #71479).  I used red, green, black, and white Recollections card stock along with Gina K sandy Beach.  I included 2 of these gift card holders in each pack.

This next set was made with paper from the Recollections Christmas packs called “Cozy Lodge” and “City Sidewalks” along with the Recollections Christmas Red and Green.

The rectangular pockets are from the Silhouette file by Lori Whitlock called “Library Pocket and Gift Card Holder” (design ID# 4215).  The one with the scalloped top is the pocket from the Santa file above.

Hanukkah Gift Card Holders

This last set of gift card holders was made with digital paper I purchased from Etsy.  One set is called “Hanukkah Digital Journaling Cards” by  Oshrat Koren (HERE).  The other set is called “Hanukkah Digital Scrapbook Kit” also by Oshrat Koren (HERE); I used the cover sheet of this set.  In addition to the digital paper, I used Gina K Honey Mustard, Turquoise Sea, and Powder Blue card stock.

There was a white panel on the back of each of these pockets with a place to write the “TO and FROM” info.
