Happy Wedding Day! – Pop Up Gazebo Card
My son got married today! Congratulations Kevin and Lansing!
The card I made for them features several Karen Burniston die sets (listed below).
It has a pop-up gazebo with park bench and the happy couple that I attached to the inside of the card with strong magnets so it can be displayed in the card or on its own if desired.
(The gazebo could also be glued directly onto the card with no magnets or given by itself with the sentiment written/stamped on the bottom and no card at all.)
For Kevin’s and Lansing’s card, I personalized the bride and groom with photos of their faces. (Yes, it’s a little silly, but fun – lol!)
My niece is getting married in October, and because I didn’t have photos that worked for hers, I used die cuts and stamps to create the faces for the bride and groom to resemble her and her husband-to-be. (Also a bit silly!)
The card front is pretty simple.
And the inside…
While quite large and a bit bulky, it does fold flat to fit in an envelope. The finished top-folding card is 7 3/4 x 6 1/4 (sized to accommodate the tall pop-up), and I used my We R Memory Keepers envelope punch to create a custom envelope.
