Wishing You a Wonderful Day – Speed Stamping!
This card took just under 5 minutes to complete; sometimes a stamp set is just that good – lol!! This “Layered Vase” stamp set from Stamplorations has 8 stamps (the large outline image, the greeting, and the 6 solid stamps to add the color), and since the stamps are not meant to layer/line up perfectly, they are really easy to position. I originally saw (and loved) this set used by Verna; thanks for the inspiration!
Over at the As You See It Challenge, we are encouraged to create a flower themed card in 10 minutes or less (AYSI224 – Fleet Florals).
After my card design was planned and all my stamps, blocks, inks, and tools were placed on my desk, I started the timer. All the paper cutting, stamping, spritzing, and assembly took exactly 4 minutes 53 seconds. (Thanks, Gayle, for introducing me to this challenge site!)
I used my MISTI stamp positioner and Gina K Designs Black Amalgam ink for the outline image and the greeting. For the layers, I used acrylic blocks and Stampin’ Up Blackberry Bliss and GKD Fresh Asparagus and Powder Blue inks which were all “stamped off” first to keep the colors soft/light.
To finish off the card, I added black speckles with a black Spectrum Aqua marker and my Tim Holtz Marker Spritzer tool.

I originally used acrylic blocks for the layers, but after I finished the first card, I placed the stamps my on MISTI and created a few more cards:
For this one, I added some Nuvo Ebony Black drops that I “flattened” to look like enamel dots (a tip I learned from Julie Ebersole (day 17) in the online Spring Card Camp I – 2020). I also cut 2 pieces from the stamped panel using dies from the “Basic A2 Panels Nesting Dies” set from Stamplorations and matted them in black.

Here, I used Gina K Designs Sweet Mango, Tangerine Twist, and Tomato Soup Inks for the tulips, Fresh Asparagus and a touch of Sweet Mango for the leaves, and Powder Blue and Soft Stone for the vase (stamped off and layered).
Thanks for checking out my card projects!
