You Look Marvelous – Birthday Card

You Look Marvelous – Birthday Card

You Look Marvelous Birthday Card xDSC_0310

(inside:  And on my birthday, you must say that I look marvelous!  Happy Birthday!)

This amusing birthday card features stamps from the Stampin’ Up “Just Kidding” set, the Stampin’ Up “Words by Wanda” set (retired?), and the Gina K Designs “You Know You’re Old When…” set (retired?).  The images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic Markers (E00, E31, E33, Y17, R20, RV29, G09, E57, and E59).

I created a die cut for the stamped image with my Silhouette and used my MISTI for perfect placement.

This is a flip card where the center panel flips over as the card is “pulled” open.

To create the card base and the decorative panels, I used the Sizzix Square Flip Framelit Dies.  The patterned paper is from the digital paper pack called “Topsy Turvy Birthday” by Digital Divine Designs which I purchased on Etsy.

Thanks for checking out my card project!

  1. Remember back in the olden days how we had to hand cut everything and line up by eyesight. Thank goodness for technology! 🙂 LOVE your flip card, beautiful bright colors, perfectly stamped and colored! And I can see Billy Crystal saying this…..lol FAB card!
