Best Wishes FORE Your Birthday Slim Line Card

Best Wishes FORE Your Birthday Slim Line Card

I have made a number of golf-themed cards over the years, but most have had more of a masculine feel to them. The “Swingin’ Day” stamp set (retired) from A-Muse Studio has these cute images that I thought were perfect for a golf card for a woman.

The patterned paper is from Love Nicole (PPR 3058) and was cut with a die from the “Slim Diagonal Stitched Rectangles” set from Pinkfresh Studio. I used dies from the Spellbinders Classic Squares (large and small) sets to create the layered squares.

I smooshed white panels with Memento Teal Zeal ink and water and then spritzed them with a Tim Holtz Broken China Distress Marker and a spritzer tool. Once the panels dried, I used the Teal Zeal ink to stamp the images.

Recollections Grey Kraft was used for the mats. Some silver cording and Clear Drops (mix 2) from Studio Katia finished it off.

The finished card is 8 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ and fits in a regular business size envelope. If you wish to create an envelope with a We R Memory Keepers envelope punch board, start with a 9 3/4″ square piece of paper and begin punching/scoring at 6 5/8″.

Thanks for checking out my card project!
