Glittery Graduation Card

Glittery Graduation Card

(Inside: May you celebrate your graduation remembering special memories from your past and exciting dreams for your future.  Happy Graduation.)

My kids had quite a few graduation parties to attend this past spring/summer so I came up with a few designs that were easy to duplicate.  Most of the graduates were from their high school where the colors are red and white so I went with those colors for most of the cards I created.

This first design (of several) was made with glitter card stock along with fabric graduation cap stickers.

In addition to graduates from their school, there were a few graduates from different schools, with different colors, so I used different glitter card stock for theirs.  (It’s hard to see the shine on the  black and white sample.)  This design was very easy to customize!

The red and black glitter card stock was by Recollections, and the blue was by DCWV.  The stickers were called “Black Graduation Caps” (#SPJBLG229) from Jolee’s Boutique.  I used a score board to emboss diagonal lines to frame my greeting which was by Rubber Stamped.  The stars were cut with 2 different star punches (#03-026386 and #03-026382) that were designed to cut thick materials by Fiskars.   The frame was created with my We R Memory Keepers Frame Punch Board.  The inside sentiment was a stamp by Northwoods Rubber Stamps.

Thanks for checking out my card project!

  1. Gorgeous graduation cards. I have some glitter card stock too but am very stingy with using it. I got mine from SU and it was quite spendy. Not sure if I can find a cheaper source or not but they do dress up a card in a hurry.
