Chalkboard Thank You Card
Melanie Muenchinger recently posted a tutorial on the Chalkboard Technique on stamptv, and I thought I’d give it a try.
This card is being entered in the StampTV MIUM Challenge – Thank You, where the challenge is to make a 4″ x 4″ Thank You Card. (Sadly, this site is no longer active.)
It is also being entered in the Mod Squad Challenge – Thank You. For this challenge, the thank you card could be any size. (Sadly, this site is no longer active.)
This card was made using all products by Gina K Designs. I created the chalkboard look with black card stock and white pigment ink. The mini snowflake frame is from the “Winter Blocks” set (retired?). I masked a portion of the frame to stamp the greeting from the “Lots of Lines” set. The long, straight line under the cord is from the “Perfect Plaids” set (retired?). The printed paper is from Winter Cheer 6″ x 6″ Paper Pack. I finished it off with silver cording.

You have done a fabulous job on this card. Anyone would want to get it as it is quite special.
I have been so busy with finishing off the holidays and packing for our stay in Florida, I have not been finding time to make comments. I will be back on tract next week. We leave tomorrow and right now all of my stuff is packed. I am pinning this card to my Pinterest board.

I really like this. I can see where those tiny squares are perfect for that size card. I got that set too, but it has not seen ink yet. You are inspiring me though!
