Scrambled Blocks Birthday Card
I had this beautiful “Eucalyptus” paper from The Paper Studio and wanted it to be the focus of the card without too much distraction. But I also wanted an interesting layout instead of a plain rectangular panel. The scrambled blocks design (as seen HERE) seemed perfect!
The paper was paired with Ocean Tides card stock from Papertrey Ink and white and a computer generated greeting. The inside sentiment was from the “Birthday Sentiments” stamp set from Honey Doo Crafts.
I did adjust my measurements just a touch on the two horizontal rectangles to make everything fit better with uniform spacing between. (Robin made all her pieces 1 1/4 x 2 1/2.) Here are the measurements I used:
Thanks for checking out my card project!

Lovely! Nice way to let the paper shine.

Beautiful card. It is a great way to show off pretty paper. Thanks for including the measurements. BTW that paper was all the rage on the Stamp Junkies page on Facebook about a year ago. You were lucky to find some.
