Santa in Golf Cart Holiday Card

Santa in Golf Cart Holiday Card

This is the fourth design in the series of golf-related holiday cards I made for the Rolling Green Golf Club’s Holiday Boutique and Luncheon.

The greeting stamp is from the “Sentimental Holiday” stamp set (retired?) by Gina K Designs.  The golf cart image is called “Golf Cart Girl” by DRS Designs.  I masked the face on the original golf cart image and replaced it with a Santa face (designed by artist Kathy L. Post)

I used my MISTI for placement and to make it easier to make more than one card.  The images were stamped and colored with Memento tuxedo black ink, a Memento tuxedo black marker, and Copic Markers ( R59, G29, C2, C4, E50, E31, E04, and 100) on white card stock, mounted on Recollections black and then on a white card base.

The inside sentiment was computer generated and says, “and a happy new year.”

These cards were designed to be made and packaged as boxed sets.

Golf Balls in Martini Glass

Here’s another golf-themed holiday card I made for the Rolling Green Golf Club’s Holiday Boutique and Luncheon.  I made two versions of this holiday card with 2 different greetings. The Christmas greeting (on the card above) is by Stampin’ Up.  (I believe that it is from a retired Hostess set called “Best Yet”  but not sure because I purchased the single stamp on ebay.)  The New Year greeting (shown below) is masked from a stamp from the “Sentimental Holiday” set (retired?) by Gina K Designs.

The martini image is from a set called “Fore Your Retirement” by Impression Obsession (IO).  (I masked a portion of one of the greeting stamps from this set to get the “Best Wishes Fore” part of my greeting.)

I used my MISTI for placement and to make it easier to make more than one card.  The images were stamped and colored with Memento tuxedo black ink and Copic Markers (R59, G28, C1, and C3) on white card stock, mounted on Recollections black and then on a white card base.

The inside sentiment was computer generated and says either “and happiness in the new year” or “and a happy holiday.”

These cards were designed to be made and packaged as boxed sets.

Holiday Planners

Holiday Planners

(one of several designs; see more below)

I loved this “Holiday Planner” idea when I saw it HERE on Melissa The Stamp Doc’s blog.  I thought planners would be useful, fun to make, a great way to use up some of the paper I have piling up in my craft room (I think I’m addicted to buying the stuff!!), and a cute item to offer at the Rolling Green Golf Club Holiday Boutique which is at the beginning of December (the perfect time to start planning for the holidays!).  So I decided to make a bunch of them!

The base for each of the planners is a pocket folder which I ordered on Amazon, but you can also get them in office supply stores and where school supplies are sold.

I scored each side of the folder in half vertically and folded them so the pockets were on the inside.

I added score tape to the back of the middle panels so they would stay together and form a tall, skinny book.  (Melissa’s opened flat.)

I designed and printed my own inserts for each planner.  I included a calendar, “to do” lists, shopping lists, stocking stuffer and gift lists, card lists, and an envelope for receipts.  (A link for inserts was provided in Melissa’s blog post, but these are copyrighted and cannot be used in products for sale.)  I will include contact information with each planner I sell so the customer can request and print additional/updated sheets for later, if desired.

I added decorative paper and mats to the fronts and inside pocket panels and made a “Holiday Planner” label (computer generated) for the fronts.  To finish them off, I tied pens to the planners with raffia. For the sale, each planner will be placed in a plastic sleeve (actually made for license plates) that I found at Bags Unlimited and sealed with clear, circular mailing seals.

I made several different styles.  (Click on each photo for a larger view.)

Golf Ball with Santa Hat

Golf Ball with Santa Hat

zDSCN8718

What’s black and white and red all over?  This card of a golf ball wearing a Santa hat, of course!  This is the second design in the series of golf-related holiday cards I made for the Rolling Green Golf Club’s Holiday Boutique and Luncheon.

The greeting stamp is from the “Winter Cheer” set by Gina K Designs.  The image stamps are called “Smile Ball” and “Santa Hat” from Cracker Box Palace.  (I masked the face and a portion of the top of the golf ball to add the hat.)

I purchased these stamps unmounted so I could use my MISTI for placement and to make it easier to make more than one card.  The images were stamped and colored with Memento tuxedo black ink and Copic Marker R59 on white card stock, mounted on Recollections black and then on a white card base.

The inside sentiment was computer generated and says, “and a happy new year.”

These clean and simple cards were designed to be made and packaged as boxed sets.

Golf Ball Snowman Holiday Card

Golf Ball Snowman Holiday Card

Three stamps called “Golf Ball Snowman,” “Sand Snow Water Lines,” and “Vertical Happy Holidays” by DRS Designs  were used to create this holiday card that I made for the Rolling Green Golf Club’s Holiday Boutique and Luncheon (that I mentioned in my last post).

I used my MISTI for placement and to make it easier to make more than one card.  The images were stamped and colored with Memento tuxedo black ink and Copic Markers (R59, C2, and C4) on white card stock, mounted on Recollections black and then on a white card base.

The inside sentiment was computer generated and says “and a wonderful new year.”

This card was designed to be made and packaged as boxed sets.
