Spotlight Hanukkah Card
Day 7 of the Holiday Card Workshop 2022 focused on using embossing folders. One of the lessons was called Spotlight Ink Blending and Embossing Folders” taught by Koren Wiskman.
This card features a stacked die cut from the “Menorah Medley” die collection from Papertrey Ink and the “Vine Pattern” embossing folder by Darice.
I also used Metallic Silver Sheets from Gift Boutique, GKD “Little Boy Blue” and white card stock, GKD In the Navy and Powder Blue inks, and a circle die to create my mask for inking.
I have very few Hanukkah greeting stamps, so I put no greeting on the front so I could include the “Happy Hanukkah” on the inside.
If you are interested in seeing how to do this technique, check out the class over at Online Card Classes.

Oh how you nailed the blues. Looks so good without the sentiment. You sure got your tips and tricks from the lessons.

The vine embossing folder is subtle enough to make the spotlight technique the star of the card with the layered die.

Using the folder and the blues the way you have makes for a really beautiful spotlight. Adding the die over it really highlights everything.
