Autumn Wishes
I can’t believe it’s almost November! I figured I had better make a few fall cards before I miss the season altogether!
In addition to going with a fall theme, I was determined to use some items I had purchased a while ago and had not gotten around to using yet. The patterned paper for the quilt sections is from the “Give Thanks” paper pack from Gina K Designs. (Not sure what I was saving it for!) The “Autumn Leaves Wood Embellishments” (retired?) and the greeting stamp from the “Autumn Wishes” set are also from Gina K Designs. I’m glad they finally got used, too!
The quilt was made with the “Quilt Die #1” from Gina Marie Designs.
The card base (5 x 7) is Papertrey Ink Rustic Cream. I also used this for the greeting panel, but I colored over the whole piece with Copic Marker E31. Tim Holtz Walnut Stain Distress Ink was then used to ink the edges and to stamp the greeting.
The solid brown card stock is the back of paper called “Joyeux Noex Santa” (JN3788) by Glitz. The lighter cardstock with all the fibers and texture was a scrap in my stash, and this piece did not have a label on it. I purchased it as open stock at one of the big box stores (Michaels, AC Moore, Joann’s, or Hobby Lobby – I can’t remember which).
Thanks for checking out my card project!

So very gorgeous with that quilted pattern paper design. You are so amazing in your designs you do. I love this one and great choice of papers too.

I love your quilt! The papers are great (I have them too) and the little wooden leaves are so cute. I may have to check out that die, I would love a quilt die but they are often very expensive. But I know Gina Marie ones are usually affordable. TFS!
